چکیده
3D printing has been used for teaching purposes. Creating models simulating surgeries. Gong et al presented a workflow digital planning surgery and Rendon previously low-cost method with acceptable precision. This paper aims to present case where surgical was applied bone graft shape dimensions. A 16-year-old female patient history of bilateral cleft lip palate received 6 interventions treat her congenital pathology. She begins orthodontic management at the age years is referred plastic service 10 later, presenting oral nasal fistula on floor mainly liquid leakage. taken from patient's left iliac crest. crest molded Assisted printed model which fixed in premaxilla 14-hole linear plate. We proposed new application models. Patient specific have applications grafting. more studies are required measure variables as time, integration, satisfaction.

To explore the potential viability and limitations of 3D printed models of children with cleft palate deformity. BACKGROUND The advantages of 3D printed replicas of normal anatomical specimens have previously been described. The creation of 3D prints displaying patient-specific anatomical pathology for surgical planning and interventions is an emerging field. Here we explored the possibility ...
متن کاملDeveloping a 3D Reconstruction System for Surgical Planning in Neurovascular Surgery (In press)
Introduction: Neurovascular lesions may cause death or disability. Some of them are operable, but surgical approaches to these lesions are complicated and proper access is crucial. A few numbers of these surgeries occur in every resident education period and their experience for operating these lesions may be quite inadequate. Using new technologies like 3D-restructure of vascular lesion images...
متن کاملGoldenhar Syndrome: Surgical Planning in a Severe Case with Cleft Lip and Palate, Coloboma and Macrostomia
Goldenhar syndrome is a rare congenital defect which may be characterized by a variety of anomalies each with a huge variability of degree. Its multimalformative aspect represents a challenging condition for the surgeon. Multidisciplinary team is often required. Surgical timing for correcting each defect should be planned from the beginning in order to avoid functional problems and to reduce th...
متن کاملSurgical Planning by 3D Printing for Primary Cardiac Schwannoma Resection
We report herein a case of benign cardiac schwannoma in the interatrial septum. A 42-year-old woman was transferred from a clinic because of cardiomegaly as determined by chest X-ray. A transthoracic echocardiography and chest computed tomography examination revealed a huge mass in the pericardium compressing the right atrium, superior vena cava (SVC), left atrium, and superior pulmonary vein. ...
